Terms of Service
The agreement for using Signet.
WILLSWAYSTUDIOS · Last updated 16 September 2026
This is not a law firm. Signet is writing software for estimates, quotes, and agreements between a studio and its client. WILLSWAYSTUDIOS is not a lawyer, does not give legal advice, and is not a substitute for the advice of an attorney. Using Signet does not create an attorney–client relationship. Have a lawyer review any document before you rely on it.
1. Who this is with
These Terms are a contract between you and WILLSWAYSTUDIOS, which operates Signet. By creating an account, clicking “Create account”, “Sign in”, or “Continue with Google / X”, or by using Signet, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you use Signet for a company, you confirm you can bind that company.
You must be at least 18 years old.
2. What Signet is
Signet is a tool to draft an estimate, hold a quote, and record an agreement on one page. You write (or generate) the work; you send a link; the other party can reply, acknowledge, or type their name. Payment between you and your client is off Signet — Venmo, Zelle, check, invoice, PayPal, or whatever you put on your mark.
Human-led compose does not call Grok. Grok-directed compose sends your brief to xAI so a language model can draft the page. You remain responsible for every word you send.
3. Not legal advice. Not your lawyer.
An estimate is not a promise. A quote is not a contract until both of you intend it to be. Typing a name on a Signet page can be an electronic signature under the federal ESIGN Act and state UETA laws if the parties mean it that way — but Signet does not decide that a court will enforce it. Signet does not practice law. We do not select clauses for your trade, your state, or your job. If you need a contract that will hold, hire an attorney licensed where the work is done.
4. Your account
You keep the password. You are responsible for activity on the account. Tell us if you think someone else is in it. We may suspend an account that is abused, unpaid, or putting other people at risk.
You can delete a compose when the job is over. You can close the whole account at any time in Settings — type DELETE, and the mark, the offers, and the billing record go with it. Stripe cancels immediately. We may keep a thin record if the law requires it.
5. Your work, their names
You own the content you put in Signet (briefs, estimates, marks, files, messages). You grantWILLSWAYSTUDIOS a limited license to host, display, and transmit that content so the product can work — including showing a public link to whoever you send it to. We do not claim the job.
Client names, addresses, and files you type or attach are yours to handle lawfully. You are the controller of that information. Signet is the processor. Do not put secrets you are not allowed to store. Do not upload anyone else’s documents without the right to.
6. Studio subscription
Sign-in starts a 14-day trial. No card. After that, 3 sends a month on the free plan, or Studio at $19 per month or $190 per year, paid to WILLSWAYSTUDIOS through Stripe. Those charges are for the software, not for legal work.
Studio is a recurring subscription. It renews at the same price and period until you cancel. Material terms: $19 each month, or $190 each year. You can change the plan, update the card, or cancel at any time in Settings — Stripe’s billing portal, or Cancel renewal on the same page. Access continues through the period you already paid. Signet never starts Studio because you said you paid. Stripe has to confirm it.
Fees you already paid are not refunded except where the law requires it. We may change prices with notice; the new price applies on the next period.
7. Payment between you and your client
WILLSWAYSTUDIOS is not a bank, escrow, or payment processor for the job. If a client pays you through a link or handle on your mark, that money never sits with us. Disputes about the work are between you and them.
8. Acceptable use
- No illegal work, fraud, or impersonation.
- No malware, scraping that harms the service, or trying to break in.
- No using Signet to practice law if you are not licensed to.
- No sending estimates that you know are false.
- No collecting children’s data. Signet is for adults.
9. AI
Grok-directed drafts can be wrong. You review before you send. Do not put health, bank, or government ID numbers into a brief. Human-led compose stays on our side and does not send the brief to xAI.
10. The service is as-is
Signet is provided as available. We do not warrant that a page will be error-free, that a number is the right number, or that an agreement will be enforceable. To the fullest extent the law allows, WILLSWAYSTUDIOS is not liable for lost jobs, lost profits, or what a client does with a link. Our total liability for a claim about Signet is the amount you paid us for Studio in the three months before the claim, or $100, whichever is more.
11. You cover us for your jobs
You will defend and hold WILLSWAYSTUDIOS harmless from claims that come from your content, your client work, your payments, or your misuse of Signet — including a claim that a document you sent was legal advice.
12. Ending it
You can stop using Signet at any time. We can stop providing it, or close an account, if we must. Sections that should survive (ownership, disclaimers, liability, indemnity) survive.
13. Changes
We may update these Terms. The date at the top will change. Continued use after the date is acceptance. If a change is material we will note it in the product where we reasonably can.
14. Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where a mandatory consumer law in your state says otherwise. Courts in that state may hear disputes, unless the law requires a different venue.
These Terms are a working document for a small product. They are not a substitute for counsel to WILLSWAYSTUDIOS either. Have a lawyer licensed in your state review them before you rely on them in a dispute.
