What we keep, and what we do not.

WILLSWAYSTUDIOS does not sell personal information. We do not rent it. We do not use it for ads. We keep what the product needs to run — your account, your mark, the work you write, and the people you send it to as you typed them.

1. Who we are

Signet is operated by WILLSWAYSTUDIOS. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use the site and the studio. It is a notice, not a contract. The Terms of Service are the contract.

You need a privacy policy even if you never sell data. California’s Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA) attaches to a site that collects a name or an email, with no size threshold. Other U.S. states, and the FTC’s rule against deceptive practices, expect the notice to match what you actually do. This page is written to match Signet.

2. What we collect

From you, when you make an account or use the studio:

• Name, email, and a hashed password (we never store the password in the clear).
• Studio mark: name, city, one-liner, how you take payment, schedule of payment.
• Estimates, quotes, agreements, messages, and files you attach.
• Client names and notes you type so the other party can read the page.
• Subscription status (trial, free, Studio) and the period you paid for.
• Technical logs: IP address, browser, and time, used to keep the service up and to stop abuse.

If you sign in with Google or X, we receive the name, email, and avatar those services send us. We do not get your social password.

If you choose Grok-directed compose, the brief you typed is sent to xAI to draft the page. Human-led compose does not send that brief to xAI.

We do not run advertising pixels. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context ads. Because of that, we do not put a “Do Not Sell or Share” link on the homepage. If that ever changes, the link will go up before the practice does.

3. Why we collect it

• To run your account and show you your studio.
• To send a living page to the person you named.
• To bill Studio when you choose to pay, and to count trial and free sends.
• To keep the product secure and to fix it.
• To meet the law (tax, a lawful request, a dispute).

We do not use the work you write to train a public model. We do not profile you for ads.

4. Who sees it

• You, and anyone on your account.
• Whoever has the link you send. A Signet link is the document. Treat it like an envelope you chose to post.
• Processors we need to run the product: hosting and database, authentication (including Google or X if you pick them), xAI when you choose Grok-directed, and Stripe when you pay for Studio. They only get what that job requires.
• The law, if we are required to.

Your client’s name and the job are yours. You decide who gets the link. We do not sell that list.

5. How long

Account and studio data stay while the account is open. Composes stay until you delete them or close the account. You can close the account in Settings at any time. Security logs are kept only as long as they are useful. After deletion we may keep a thin billing record if the law requires it.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what we hold, to correct it, to delete it, and to take a copy. Close the account in Settings, or write to WILLSWAYSTUDIOS from the email on the account. We will not discriminate against you for asking. We do not sell or share, so there is nothing to opt out of on that axis.

Some state laws (including California’s CCPA) apply only after a revenue or volume threshold. We still honor a reasonable request to see or delete your account. If we later meet a threshold, this policy will say so, and the extra machinery (including a “Your Privacy Choices” link, if we ever share for ads) will be added before it is required.

7. Children

Signet is not for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect children’s information.

8. Security

Passwords are hashed. Sessions use a secure cookie. Public links are unguessable strings, not a lock — anyone with the URL can open the page. Do not put a Social Security number, a medical file, or a full card number into an estimate.

If we learn of a breach that affects you, we will notify you and the people the law requires, in the time those laws set. Every U.S. state has a breach-notice statute.

9. Other countries

The product is built for the United States (Florida, United States as the operator’s home). If you use it from elsewhere, you understand the data is processed in the U.S. GDPR may apply if you are in the EEA or UK; write to us to exercise those rights. We are not offering the product as a legal service in any country.

10. Changes

If the practice changes, this page changes, and the date at the top moves. We will not bury a sale of data in a silent edit.
